In Vrindavan, Krishna used to be the darling of the Gopinis in spite of all teasing by him that they had to endure. In the Vastra Haran episode, Krishna steals the clothes of the bathing Gopinis and hides atop a tree in a playful leela, as the Gopinis plead to him for their clothes.
