Seen in this wonderful wood sculpture is a figurine of an ironsmith, busy at his work. He takes a long pipe in his hands and blows through it to ignite the little furnace he has lighted to mold the iron placed beside him.
He works hard, not even so much as noticing the irritating fumes coming out of his stove. His toolbox is ready by his side and all his tools and implements are arranged neatly so as to help him locate them with ease, while at work.
The ironsmith places the iron on a small stone table and prepares to heat it and then mold it into shape. A spanner kept just next to him will then help him handle the hot piece of iron and manipulate it to the desired shape, without hurting himself in the process.
He carefully lights the furnace and prepares to heat the iron on it. The clever artistry brings out his concentration and dedication to the job.
