Rural India has some very fine natural landscapes and views to offer those interested to take in Mother Nature's beauty. The Indian countryside is very picturesque, dotted with quaint old houses nestling among hills, becoming a veritable feast for the eyes, so to speak.
The nature poster featured in here shows just such a little cottage, surrounded by greenery on all sides. Hills rise majestically from the horizon, adding an ethnic touch to the whole scene. The roof of the cottage is made of asbestos and some hay is used to form an ingenious sunshade as well.
The walls of the house are neatly whitewashed as is the tradition in Indian villages. A rope hanging from one wall has clothes hung on it, left to dry after washing. A cow is tied up to a pole on one side and one can see a woman busy with her work outside.
