Krishna Placates Angry Radha (Currently out-of-stock)

Radha and Krishna, the divine couple, ever in love, are celebrated across the entire globe. Their stories are filled with all the nava rasas (nine emotions), entertaining people of all races and age groups. The miniature painting featured here shows a beautiful scene from the Vrindavan. Krishna and Radha are seated amidst the romantic environs of the gardens. Radha is miffed with Krishna over some subject or another and Krishna tries his level best to placate her and cool her down! Krishna, knowing the transient nature of Radha's anger, smiles to himself and places a gentle hand on her shoulder. Radha turns away from him and pulls her veil more tightly around her head. But she carefully covers her face with her hand, to hide the little smile starting to play on her own lips!
