Chandraghanta, is the third form of Navadurga. This third facet of goddess Durga has a 'Chandra' or half moon in her forehead in the shape of a 'ghanta' or a bell and, hence, called Chandraghanta. She is the apostle of bravery, rides a lion, has ten arms holding ten different weapons to fight against demons to drive them away.
