The banjara clan of Rajasthan consists of nomads, who travel the length and breadth of the state. They mostly move around the deserts of Rajasthan and generally live in tune with Mother Nature. They are sometimes even be spotted in the city, showing off their unique skills, such as rope-walking, snake charming and so on. These banjaras are dressed in colorful outfits, filled with rich embroidery. The womenfolk wear cotton cholis (blouses) and ghagras (flowing skirts), filled with mirrors and fine thread-work, which they are particularly good at. 

The poster featured here shows a lovely banjara woman, decked in all her traditional finery. The beautiful lady covers her head with her ghunghat (veil) to shield herself from the blazing desert sun.
