Indian wedding ceremonies are extremely lavish and colorful, many of them lasting as long as a week, with at least one major ceremony each day. The poster featured here depicts an Indian bride dressed in all her finery. Her eyes full of dreams of future conjugal bliss, she looks radiant and completely joyful. Her red sari adds further glow to her already shining face. Her red bindi stands out on her forehead and her hands glisten with the newly applied henna design. She is covered from head to toe with heavy jewelry. Her nath (nose ring) and the tikka placed on her hair parting adds further beauty to her heart-shaped face, adding character to her chiseled features. Her perfectly arched eyebrows and huge, expressive eyes shaded with deep kohl make her the cynosure of all eyes.

The demure bride looks down bashfully and smiles to herself, hoping her marital life will bring her a lot of joy and peace.
