Miniature Painting

Over the post forty years, Indian 'miniature' painting have become increasingly popular in India and the West, among art scholars, collectors, artists and others, on account of their meticulous workmanship, passionately warm and vibrant scheme of colours, and for their variety of styles and themes. The rich heritage of Indian miniature painting has long been the delight of collectors, art historians and Indophiles the world over. Miniature paintings are paintings which have very high and fine details on themselves. These paintings can only be made by professional artists of great experience and is an art passed on from father to son for centuries.
