God, for Hindus, is present in everything. Hindus acknowledge and worship various gods and goddesses, but these are all aspects of the one supreme God. The hindu goddesses, Durga, Parvati, Saraswati, Lakshmi and Kali are different forms and names of the mother Goddess or Shakti. The Hindu scriptures were eloquent while describing the qualities of the mother Goddess.
