Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was born in the year 1836 and lived till 1886. During his lifespan, his teachings captured the very essence of the spiritual realizations of all the great masters, saints and sages of India. Sri Ramakrishna spent his entire life in the contemplation of the Divine. He reached a supremely transcendental stage, which surpassed all the aspects of worldly life. He spoke extensively about one God, thereby attracting people of all faiths and religions to listen to his discourses. Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa is still alive today, in the form of his immortal teachings.

The teachings of this God-man crossed all boundaries of caste, creed and religion. To him, God could be accessed in unlimited ways and there was no one path towards religion and spirituality. His was not a cult, but was more in tune with the true God-consciousness in its pure form. He famously declared, “As many faiths, so many paths.” Ramakrishna’s teachings are of great relevance in today’s war-torn, chaotic world.
