Lord Krishna's tales abound with many miracles or leelas that He performed at all stages of His life. Starting from His birth to Devaki and Vasudeva while in the prison cell, His tale continues to be awe-inspiring and fascinating to people of all age groups.

Krishna's father, Vasudeva, shifted Him to Yashoda's abode, where He was brought up as a Yadava. He would perform many miracles, such as slaying the frightful she-demon, Puthana, dancing on the menacing snake, Kaliya's hood and taming him, lifting up the huge Govardhana mountain with his left little finger and so on.

Lord Krishna was famous for his dalliances with the Gopis or the ladies of the shepherd clan. He would also perform the Ras Leela, a joyous dance of Krishna and the Gopis. He then fell in love with the pretty and demure Radha, who became his divine partner. Lord Krishna's mission, however, was to expound the principles of life through the Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna, during the epic battle of Kurukshetra.
