Featured here is a wood inlay sculpture of the Indian Goddess Lakshmi, Goddess of Wealth and Abundance. Lakshmi is shown in her conventional pose, seated on a large, full-bloomed lotus and holding lotuses in two hands. Lakshmi’s right hand symbolizes protection to those who surrender to Her. There is also a continuous flow of wealth pouring from this hand.
